Branding Case Study - Dawes Highway Safety - Website MobileClient: Dawes Highway Safety – a young innovative business in the technology sector. Dawes has designed and patented two products to reduce the risk of serious injury or death to cyclists and pedestrians from large vehicles.

Challenge: The original Dawes Highway Safety website had been created by James Dawes, the Managing Director. James has a very impressive background as an experienced traffic sergeant with the Metropolitan Police, but by his own admission he has limited commercial experience. He knew he needed a strong brand and support with his marketing so he could promote the business with confidence, so James asked MMD to update his branding and also create a new website and marketing collateral to leave with potential customers.

What we did: Branding Case Study - Dawes Highway Safety - Website LaptopWe made some tweaks to the Dawes Highway branding to give it more impact and created branding guidelines to ensure consistency across all of Dawes’ marketing. We also created business stationery and a number of document templates for presentations, policies and proposals. Finally we designed an exhibition stand stickers for promotional giveaways and leaflets for trade shows.

We created a fully content-managed website on the WordPress platform and since James wanted to be able to add fresh visual content from time to time, we customised it with plenty of gallery options. Blogging and social media has been key to promoting the Dawes name both online and in print, so that was also built into the website and made prominent.
