Easy ways to promote your website
OK, so you need some more traffic to come to your website but you don’t want to invest in SEO and PPC services just yet. What can you do?
Well, seeing as I’m a nice guy I’m going to slip you a little bit of free advice. It’s not complex and it’s not going to turn your business around but it might help you to get one or two more sales from your website and it will send some traffic to your site (which is the ultimate aim of SEO anyway).
So, what is this gem?? Well, it’s free advertising and it’s utilising Gumtree and Craigslist. They are popular websites that have a lot of traffic and a lot of people looking for services and products. You can advertise on there for free and you may well get the odd enquiry. It’s worked for me in the past.
Of course, it’s not completely simple – you still need to wear your marketing hat. You need to write an advert that makes people want to come to your site. You need to make them think that they’re missing out unless they come and visit your website.
But it’s an easy way to drive some traffic to your website. Give it a try and see what happens!
