A cutting edge technology business specialising in surface audio and haptics. Redux works with companies in the smartphone, tablets and automotive sectors.
Redux was exhibiting at a high-profile trade show in San Francisco and wanted a new website and user experience design for an interactive display to showcase their products. They also wanted an eye-catching exhibition stand designed. Whilst they were not actively looking to rebrand, they were open to new ideas for their branding.
Their main priority was ensuring they were ready for the exhibition within tight time constraints. The key focus therefore was the interactive showcase and exhibition stand.
What We Did:
We developed a number of different design concepts and presented each of them to the client, explaining our thinking behind each one and the message it communicated. The client selected one to take forward and develop further.
Our designer then started work on initial website design ideas. At the same time, a full brief was taken for the interactive showcase and we delivered page ideas for the whole showcase along with our proposals for rebranding.
Sourcing appropriate imagery that met the tight brief proved very challenging, and so it was agreed that the website launch would wait until after the trade show.
All the interactive designs were signed off and delivered to the client to integrate into their demo product. We provided print ready artwork for the client to have the panels printed in the USA and worked closely with the client on planning and setting up the stand. We also sourced bespoke units for the front of stand, one of them to include the interactive showcase.
Subsequently, we worked closely with the team to deliver the new website. They wanted an easy to maintain, fully content managed site, suitable for them to share news and thought leadership ideas as well as showcase their technology. The website was a fully bespoke responsive design built on the WordPress platform.
New branding, a fully interactive display and an exhibition stand were all delivered in time for launch at the large trade show in San Francisco. A new website was subsequently launched.
Redux now have a fresh modern image reflecting their cutting-edge technology. The website now presents a professional, credible image to, leading global organisations who are likely to want to purchase the technology as well as potential investors.
What did the client think?
“Mass Media Design were recommended to us by the head of another technology company and we weren’t disappointed. There was a very tight schedule for us to be ready for the trade show in California and they pulled out all the stops to ensure everything was available.
Whilst we hadn’t originally planned to have a rebrand, it was absolutely the right thing to do and we are so glad we did it. The new colouring and style is very much in keeping with our technology and approach and appeals to our target audience.
There were challenges during the project, but the MMD team didn’t shy away from them and were determined to deliver a great result. They certainly have - we are very proud of the results and have already recommended them to others.”
